This tank mechanic is called heating shell: whenever you are stationary or moving slowly (below 20 km/h), your alpha damage starts increasing gradually (up to 800 damage max with standard and premium rounds).
To get the full effect it takes around 10 seconds.
The tank itself feels like worse Grille 15, in other words, like a downgrade from tier X (especially when you play aggressively).
